Hundreds of Madison County families have lost their housing over the past decade as rent has gone through-the-roof. New Futures is the only local shelter that keeps families together. Gwyne Taylor and Cathy Reisenwitz are running a capital campaign to raise $261,000 to pay off their balloon note due in October. Will you contribute today?

About us
Gwyne Taylor is a Huntsville-based small business owner with more than 20 years of experience helping companies win billions of dollars in federal work. Today, she applies her experience running proposal centers for Alutiiq, GardaWorld Federal, DynCorp, and Coastal International Security, Inc. to her company, Tailored Global. There, she helps smaller companies standardize and elevate their business development, capture, and proposal processes to win more work. Gwyne is excited to leverage her professional project management experience to launch and lead the New Futures Capital Campaign.
Cathy Reisenwitz is a writer from Huntsville, AL. Thousands of people read her newsletter on gender and politics. Her writing has also appeared in the Daily Beast, VICE Motherboard, Reason magazine, Liberal Currents, and other fine publications. She chairs the Steering Committee for the Center for New Liberalism and serves on the Diversity Committee. She is a member of the Board of Directors for HUBS Coop and the Huntsville Environmental Coalition and a Huntsville Accessible Transportation Alliance member. She founded Advance Huntsville and co-founded and co-leads HSV YIMBY. She’s spoken at numerous conferences, including at Lewis & Clark, Georgetown University, CPAC, and SXSW. Her television appearances include Fox News and Al Jazeera America. She lives with her partner Rob and their orange rescue cats, Sonic and Tails.
