Alabama House of Representatives District 10 incumbent David Cole (R) resigned his seat on August 31, 2023, in response to voter fraud charges. In October Cole pleaded guilty. Judge Mann sentenced Cole to nearly $53,000 in fines and a three-year split sentence. Cole was to serve 60 days in Madison County Jail and then spend three years on probation.
