Dante and the Humanities: West African Drumming & Dance

Dante and the Humanities: West African Drumming & Dance is a two-day event on the UAH Campus.

It begins on Thursday, September 26th with a lecture on Oral History and the Griot Tradition at 11:00 a.m. in the Black Box Theatre Morton Hall, located at 1310 Ben Graves Dr. Huntsville, AL 35899. Then at 6:30 p.m. in the Charger Union Theatre, located at 4705 Holmes Ave Huntsville, AL 35899, you’ll find a demo and panel featuring Africa Nashville and Dance Theatre of Huntsville.

On Friday, September 27th, join a Masterclass with Africa Nashville at 11:00 a.m. in Bevill Center 268/9, located at 550 Sparkman Dr NW, Huntsville, AL 35816.
