Alabama Action Coalition for Transit is hosting a Zoom call on August 12 from noon to one pm to discuss a path to state transit funding in the 2025 Alabama legislature.

“Transit legislative champion” Senator Linda Coleman-Madison (D-Birmingham) will open the conversation with thoughts about past and future funding efforts.

AACT is asking transit fans to please encourage your friends and state Senate and House representatives to join the call. They’re especially hoping Republican legislators will join the dialogue to consider the possibility of bipartisan action. We’ll recognize any legislators who attend!
