Allison Montgomery from the Alabama Transgender Rights Action Coalition (ALTRAC) recently let me know that their biggest priority right now is directing people to write their legislators (and the Rules Committees) about HB111/SB92 (What Is a Woman Act).

We’re working with Allison to find an upcoming HNL/HY happy hour where she can speak with us. I heard Allison speak at the 2024 Madison County State Delegate Forum earlier this year and was very impressed. Then I got to meet her in-person at this year’s Bid on Blue (which I wrote about last week). She’s lovely, of course, and I hope we can make it happen soon.
